New Day, New Design.

Tuesday, July 14 2009 by patrickmason

My absence on the blog scene, though not uncommon is fueled more by motivation than laziness this time.  I have been diligently working redesigning this site.   Sure, I love the oranges, blues and greens, but have decided to go for a more clean look with more features.   Why now?  Well why not.  Truth be told I feel this has been a long time coming and I happy to be getting close to completion.  It is my goal that within the next week you will be looking at the new NeighborhoodComputerGeek.com.

So what should you expect?  Here is the list so far:

  • Yes, it will use Graffiti CMS.  Enough said.
  • New Event Calendar for Graffiti by myself
  • New Photo Gallery plugin by myself, with some collaboration.
  • New decked out theme
  • A new focus on services rather than ramblings

I am excited about this change and hope it is successful.  Hopefully the next post you read will be at the new site.  If you are interested in seeing the beta site, drop a comment and I can get you access.
