Breeder's Assistant is the first customizable platform for dog breeders.   Over the years as I looked at breeder's sites I noticed several things.  They lacked any real functionality besides a picture and paragraph and they tended to be either really busy, or really sparse.  In essence none of them really displayed a web site that portrayed professionalism and offered the end user enough information to make truly educated decisions.   What made the situation worse is most breeders paid for this.

The proposed platform addressed these concerns in a few ways.  First, store and track information about your kennel that you can use to effectively manage your business, and second make this information public in a concise format while still allowing customization to suit individual needs.

The BETA version of this site should be available before Christmas at my kennel , South Bear Point Kennel. 

The focus of the BETA is on the following core functionality:

• Canine Management - Store name, geneology and registration information.
• Litter Management - Track puppies as litters including birth and ween dates
• Listing Management - Mark a canine for sale or adoption and publish it for the site.

For the future we are looking at functionality including but not limited to:

• Vet Management
• Multiple Breeder, One Site
• PayPal, e-commerce integration
